The Varsity football game against Cherry Creek on Oct 9 at Littleton Stadium ended in a loss, leaving Arapahoe at a 3-4 season record.
“We’ve got to learn from them, we’ve got to bounce back for the upcoming weeks, and it’s going to be a dogfight,” said center Giovanni Carrana ‘26.
The players don’t see this defeat as a loss; rather, they believe it will help them become a better team.
“That’s the best defense we’ll face. And if we look at our offense, we’ll see what we need to do against a good defense, that’ll help us in the upcoming weeks,” said Giovanni.
Some of the viewers, on the other hand, had a different reaction.
“I felt kinda aggravated and irritated, but I knew it was coming.” said Kaydence Scott ‘29.
Coming up, Arapahoe plays Cherokee Trail on Oct 23 at 7 p.m. at Legacy Stadium.
